Clare did the press circuit last week in Australia while promoting her tour and videos have been scattered and surfacing. A lot are difficult to watch because they are region based meaning unless you live in that country you are unable to see them. I posted one video like this last week and have come across another and thought I would share! Check out new Australian interviews of our favorite Pixie!
Clare was on a morning show in Sydney Australia today called The Morning Show. I’ve added a video and screencaps from her interview and live performance. Enjoy!
The stars of ABC’s “Nashville” were in Detroit on Sunday, May 1 for “Nashville in Concert” at The Fox Theatre. Clare Bowen, who plays Scarlett O’Connor, talked with Stephen Clark about how she is both the actor and the singer, and how Scarlett is apart of her.
The cast of Nashville Clare Bowen, Charles Esten, Aubrey Peebles, and Chris Carmack did an interview with Good Morning Teras in Texas and it’s a lovely interview and thought I would share it. Enjoy!
Check out a short recent video of Clare on Before the Show: Madison Square Garden and screencaps below.
The cast of Nashville would like you to know they are real musicians – they don’t just play them on TV.
You’ll get a chance to see exactly what they mean Wednesday night when the performers take the stage and sing, not as their characters, but as themselves. But be prepared – it’ll definitely feel a little different.
“Scarlett and I use the same body but it’s me,” Clare Bowen, the Australian-born actress who plays Scarlett O’Connor, tells PEOPLE. “I don’t come out and say, ‘Hey y’all, how’s it going!'”
She also won’t be wearing Scarlett’s beloved boots. “I don’t wear shoes when I perform,” says Bowen. “The bass is tickly and I like to feel where I’m walking. I like being able to jump around and my feet are the most reliable thing that I have to jump around in.”
As for Sam Palladio, he’s hoping there are a few fans of the show left that don’t realize he’s actually British. “I’m not as country sounding as Gunnar [Scott] would be, but I guess I do sing with a little of an American accent, which has been passed down for years,” he says.
“The greatest thing was last year with the last On the Record special, I guess unless people had You Tubed interviews with me, it was a real ‘What the hell?’ moment when they heard me,” he recalls. “So hopefully the people I missed last year I can blow their minds this year.”
In fact, Palladio says he gets lots of practice speaking with an American accent – even when he’s not filming the show.
“I sometimes do it on the phone, if you’re calling up a company to talk about something or another, or to pay a phone bill, it’s sometimes saves a bit of time. Otherwise it can be like. ‘Where are you from?’ Also, I find ordering at a drive-through is way easier in a southern accent!”

I’ve added more photos of Clare from the CMA’s. She did an interview with The Tennessean and said the corset top was actually the one Scarlett used last season! I thought it looked familiar. I’ve also added screencaps of Clare’s little cameo in The Foo Fighters documentary series on HBO called Sonic Highways.
